Full-Scope Certification for Hazardous Areas

ExVeritas certifies electrical equipment, mechanical equipment and protective systems for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. We specialise in explosive atmosphere safety and as such we have some of the most experienced Certification Engineers and highly accredited facilities available.

IECEE CB Scheme Certification (Electrical Product Safety)

ExVeritas is now recognised as a CB Testing Laboratory (CBTL) and National Certification Body (NCB) under the IECEE CB Scheme. This allows us to provide:

• Electrical and electronic product testing to IEC safety standards

• Issuance of internationally recognised CB Test Certificates

• Streamlined multi-market access for over 50 member countries

CB Scheme certification reduces duplication, speeds up approval, and meets the electrical safety requirements often mandatory in global markets — including those beyond explosive atmospheres.

North American Certification

For North America, ExVeritas conducts electrical safety testing in accordance with the relevant listed standards for your product type. We are an approved third-party test laboratory for a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL), which allows us to conduct testing in the UK that is accepted for US and Canadian market access.

For offshore applications, we are also accepted by the US Coast Guard (USCG). Our IECEx Certificates are recognised for offshore installations such as those in the Gulf of Mexico.
