ExVeritas require a CompEx EX01-EX04 qualified electrical inspection engineer. The position is based in our Wrexham office. The job involves travel within the UK and abroad. There is the opportunity to progress your career either as a CompEx trainer/ assessor as we run four CompEx training centres UK, Ireland, Malta and Dallas, Texas, USA or in Explosion risk reduction methods (Area Classification, explosion risk assessment, DSEAR implementation etc). Full training will be provided if the candidate wishes to pursue either of these career routes. Otherwise, there is progression to become a Principal Inspection Engineer again full training and support will be provided.
The role will involve training and assessment so we are looking for either a CompEx qualified trainer or someone with CompEx qualifications who we can train to become CompEx trainer. We run three CompEx training centres and the position is at our Wrexham location. There will be the opportunity to present training at our other centres in Ireland and Malta.
Knowledge of the following ideal: Hazardous Areas (Potentially Explosive Atmospheres) safety including DSEAR or ATEX 157 (UK/EU Legislation). CompEx EX01-EX04 but we can provide comprehensive training for applicants with the right background/aptitude or if you are already engaged in this type of work, we can take you to the next level.
Ex Product Certification Engineers
We are looking to add an experienced Ex Product Certification Engineer to our Wrexham Office and Test laboratory. Ideally with experience in a range of protection concepts and familiarity with ATEX and North American Listing. The role may involve:
- Arrange testing through our UKAS Ex laboratory
- Conduct Assessments an generate reports (UKAS IECEx UKCA ATEX etc)
- Check Reports and Certificates for issue
Based in the Wrexham office, the Quality Manager will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance and continual improvement of the ExVeritas Quality Management System, ensuring conformity to the latest ISO IEC 17021-1, ISO IEC 17025, and ISO / IEC 17065 International Standards. In addition, the Quality Manager will be responsible for the planning and successful delivery of the Risk-Based Internal Audit Programme. The Quality Manager role will also involve Quality Certification Audits (External) and other activities as required to support the Quality function, Product Certification Sections, Test Laboratory, Site Services and Training Centre
