UKCA Certification Scheme Starts

UKCA Certification for ‘Ex’ (ATEX) has now started. The UK Government has called the scheme ‘ATEX’ and the UK Standard list is referred to as ‘Designated standards: ATEX’!

The current list is predominantly  European (EN) Standards as the initial starting point (although it has been indicated that the UK may deviate from this list over time)

ExVeritas have a full accredited UK, ATEX and IECEx Test laboratory and can issue UKCA, ATEX and IECEx QMS. We can issue all necessary Certification in one seamless project from design reviews to full certication or can quickly convert IECEx and ATEX Certification to UKCA Certification (subject to review and satisfactory test and assessment reports being provided)

The designated standards list for UK ATEX has now been published, you can view the list here.

ExVeritas have Government Approval for UK EX (ATEX) in the United Kingdom.

The full scope of ExVeritas conformity assessment for each product type can be seen here: Equipment and protective systems for use in potentially explosive atmospheres (ATEX)
