ExVeritas are proud to announce that in Partnership with Jones Engineering Services they will operate the first and only licensed CompEx training center in Ireland, store commencing July 2015
CompEx is an internationally accredited core competency validation qualification for Electrical, Instrument & Mechanical Engineers, Supervisors, Technicians and Operatives who need to develop and demonstrate their competency in the selection, installation, inspection and maintenance of “Ex” apparatus in potentially explosive atmospheres (see www.compex.org.uk).
ExVeritas have partnered with Jones Engineering Services as they provide a ‘real world’ view of Ex Installation and Inspection, being one of the largest Ex Installation and Inspection Companies in Ireland. Our combined aim is to provide hazardous area competency based assessment training solutions locally, in the Irish market. The new facilities in Little Island, Co. Cork, offer a comfortable learning experience in a safe environment, with fully equipped workshops for hands on training and assessments which include both practical and theoretical assessments to the latest International Standards and European Directives. We are offering hazardous area courses beginning in July 2015 which will include: 
- CompEx F (Foundation)
- CompEx 01- Ex 04 (Gas & Vapours) – 6th-10th July, 14th-18th Sept & 9th-13th Nov
- CompEx Refresher (Ex01- Ex04)
- CompEx 12 (For Designers) at the centre or at your premises.
Further courses are currently being added to this initial offering, including CompEx Dust and CompEx Mechanical Courses and Specialist courses such as Area Classification and Ex Inspection Management (Responsible Person)
ExVeritas are acknowledged experts in the field of explosion prevention, a UKAS accredited UK ATEX Notified Body and experienced CompEx Assessment Centre.
