Are you affected by the changes in EN 60079-0:2012 ?
The explosive atmospheres general requirements standard (EN 60079-0:2012) has been published and you have until 02/04/2015 to update to this Standard ( you can no longer assume conformity after that date as superseded standard ceases to give presumption of conformity with the essential safety requirements)
There are some significant changes, particular for plastic portable equipment (including intrinsically safe and Zone 2 equipment), as the ‘test’ for capacitance (charge) has been removed, and many products will no longer comply with the static requirements based on size or conductivity.
