FREE ATEX Update & Refresher Seminars
ExVeritas will hold FREE half-day ATEX Update and Refresher seminars on the 4th April and 3rd September 2014 in Wrexham, Nr Chester. These free seminars have been created to update and inform designers and users of ATEX and Ex products
The ATEX Directives continues to change and evolve, and in 2014 we can expect to see some more significant changes to Standards and possibly even the Directive. These free update seminars aim as both a refresher to the ATEX Directive (and its relationship with CE Marking and other schemes such as IECEX) and an overview of what has changed and may change in the near future.
Couse places are limited to 12 Delegates, light refreshments will be provided. The courses places are allocated on a first come, first served basis.
ATEX Update Objectives
At the end of the seminar delegates will have:
- A Review of ATEX and DSEAR (ATEX 95 and ATEX 137)
- A basic understanding of ATEX, CE, IECEx, NEC500 and NEC505(North American Hazloc)
- An understanding of what needs to be done to ensure compliance with the ATEX directive.
- ATEX Update – Knowledge of the significant Standards changes over the last 5 years
- Advanced notice of the changes that are likely to affect products in the future (draft Standards and new approaches)
The Presenter: The presenter has been certifying ATEX Products since 1996, has worked for several ATEX Notified Bodies and even set up and owned an ATEX Notified Body, helping to offer a unique perspective on the subject of certification!
Target Audience: Anyone who needs an ATEX Update & Refresher’ – Engineers, Managers, Procurement and Sales – this course is suitable for non-technical staff.
