Our Experience
Our Consultants have a wealth of experience in a wide range of engineering disciplines
and approval issues. From being test and project engineers at several Notified Bodies
(including our own) to being the UK’s leading ATEX Consultancy, we have covered an
amazing range of products and industries in our core range of disciplines.

We have particular specialist knowledge and expertise within the oil industry and
have been involved in the design or certification of most oil tools and instruments.
We also have specialist knowledge of many other industries and manufacturing or processing
sites.

of Epsilon Compliance, an EU Notified Body for ATEX.

When employing a consultant or approvals engineer in any capacity the single most
important factor is the relevant experience of the person involved.
With over 50 years collective experience, there is very little we have not done within
the field of explosion protection, from design consultancy to setting up an ATEX
Notified Body. If we do not have direct applicable experiance, we probably know the
best person to help you.
Example Project Experience
Flameproof design and build
We have designed ATEX Flameproof enclosures, had a prototype built and ATEX certified
and handed the certified item with build instructions and parts list to the client
for manufacture.
Intrinsic Safety System Design
We have designed Intrinsically safe systems with simple apparatus and certified parts.
We produced system drawings and certification.
Zone Reduction and Removal
We have been able to remove or reduce Zones for a client by use of CFD software and
safety systems to simplify and lower costs of DSEAR compliance
Bespoke Training Solutions
We have written training for clients with special circumstances in the Middle East,
we delivered the training and trained their trainers to deliver future training independently.
